With increased traffic, harsh weather conditions, and the general aging of the streets in Salem, potholes can create hazards to our citizens. Potholes can be reported to the City of Salem's Public Works Department through one of the following methods.

Submit an Online Report

Send the report to the City of Salem's Public Works Dispatch staff with the following information:

• Location
  • Address/hundred block and street name
  • Nearest cross street
• Description of the damage
• Photo of the damage, if you have one
• Any additional information
• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address

Call It In

Available 24 hours a day and seven days a week, you can call the Public Works Dispatch Center at 503-588-6311 to notify the City of a pothole in need of repair.
