Earth Day Craft Swap Drop Off

Drop off your unused craft supplies to receive an early entry ticket to the Craft Swap on Saturday, April 22!

DONATION GUIDELINES

  • Up to two boxes or large bags may be donated per person.
  • No works in progress, please.
  • Items should be things that can be bought in a store (i.e., no empty containers).
  • All items should be clean (no exposure to smoke) and new or very gently used.
  • If items have been exposed to pet hair (such as fabric or yarn), they need to be labeled as such.
  • Fabric must be clean and dry. Please package smaller scraps into bags.
  • Please keep small items, like buttons and beads, or sets of items, like markers and pencils, bagged.
  • Small tools in working condition are welcome, but please avoid bringing expensive and/or large machinery such as sewing machines and die cutters.
  • Papers (such as scrapbook papers or books) should be clean and free of water damage.
  • The library has the right to refuse or recycle items.

SUGGESTED DONATION ITEMS

  • Fabric, thread, buttons, ribbon
  • Yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks
  • Blank canvases, unopened paints, brushes
  • Drawing supplies
  • Jewelry-making tools and beads
  • Carving or whittling tools
