1st Violation: Verbal Warning only—Patron may correct behavior or leave premises

2nd Warning: 3 day exclusion

3rd Warning: 7 day exclusion

1. Enter Center 50+ without shoes or without a shirt or remove one's shoes or shirt while in Center 50+.

2. Exhibit disruptive behaviors that interfere with others' use of the Center or that interfere with Center operations. Such behaviors include but are not limited to: disturbing others by talking loudly, making loud noises, or using personal electronic devices at a volume that disturbs others.

3. Use cell phones in areas not designated for cell phone use. Cell phone use is not permitted in the Restrooms, Locker rooms, or classrooms where the instructor has asked for no cell phone usage.

4. Consume food in areas not designated for food consumption, including pool room, computer lab, Fitness Center, Hobby Rooms. Food and beverages with lids are acceptable throughout the other areas.

5. Bring in bulky items including, but not limited to, bicycles, carts or large bags which create an obstacle, take up seating or interfere with staff or patron use of Center 50+.

6. Leave personal belongings unattended.

7. Lie down or sleep.

8. Neglect to provide supervision of children.

9. Bring animals other than service animals into the Center. Only service animals or animals which are part of a Center 50+ program are permitted in Center 50+. Service animals are defined as dogs or miniature horses that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.

10. Use, distribute, or sell tobacco, tobacco products or vaping devices in any form.

11. Solicit, petition, or distribute written materials, or canvass for political, charitable or religious purposes within the Center 50+ building. In addition to Center 50+, these activities are not permitted in the Center 50+ doorways or vestibules in a manner which may interfere with or impede access to the Center.

12. Sell anything without the express permission from Center 50+.

13. Use Center 50+ restrooms improperly by bathing, shaving, washing hair, changing, laundering clothing, or washing dishes.

14. Depositing bodily fluids or excrement on any Center 50+ property including but not limited to: Equipment, walls furnishings and flooring.

15. Disturb other Center 50+ patrons due to strong body odor or strong perfume.

1. Violate the Center 50+/Tech 50+ Rules for Acceptable Use of the Internet and Center 50+ public computers. In addition to the Rules for Acceptable Use of the Internet and Center 50+ public computers, Center 50+ users agree to abide by the following rules for any device, personal or otherwise, while in the Center 50+:

2. Stop viewing an internet site if staff determines that the site may create a hostile environment for staff or patrons.

3. Not access sites that are inappropriate for minors if the user's device may be visible to minors.

4. Not view, print, upload, download or otherwise access material unlawfully.

5. Not intercept or receive data not specifically intended for you.  

Consequence (exclusion period)

1st Violation: 1 day exclusion

2nd Warning: 7 day exclusion

3rd Warning: 14 day exclusion

1. Fraudulently use someone else's food voucher or fee waiver.

2. Fail to comply with a staff request to cease a behavior that interferes with the effective operation of Center 50+.

3. Damage Center 50+ property due to muddy footwear or dirty hands or clothing.

4. Exhibit abusive or threatening behavior (including language or gestures) with the intent to intimidate or harass staff, volunteers or other Center 50+ patrons.

Consequence (exclusion period)

1st Violation: 14 day exclusion

2nd Warning: 21 day exclusion

3rd Warning: 90 day exclusion

1. Fight or challenge another to fight.

2. Trespass in nonpublic areas.

3. Are in Center 50+ before or after operating hours without the permission of an authorized Center 50+ employee.

4. Refusing to leave building during emergency evacuation.

Consequence (exclusion period)

1st Violation: 1 year exclusion

2nd Warning: 2 year exclusion

3rd Warning: 3 year exclusion

1. Possess a firearm or dangerous weapon in violation of ORS 166.370. 

2. Commit or attempt to commit any activity that would constitute a violation of any federal, state or local criminal statute or ordinance. 

3. Direct a specific threat of physical harm against an individual, group of individuals or property.

4. Engage in sexual conduct, as defined under ORS 167.060, including, but not limited to, the physical manipulation or touching of one's own genitals through clothing in an act of apparent sexual stimulation or gratification or exposing one's genitals.

5. Are under the influence of any controlled substance or intoxicating liquor. Controlled substance is defined in Schedules I through V of the federal Controlled Substances Act, 21 U.S.C. 811 to 812.

6. Possess, sell, distribute or consume any alcoholic beverage or marijuana product, except as permitted at a Center 50+ approved event.

7. Damage or steal personal or Center 50+ property.

8. Refuse to leave Center 50+ property after being issued a notice of exclusion.

Any person who violates a Level 5 rule while in or on Center 50+ premises will be immediately ejected and excluded from Center 50+ without first being given a warning. Law enforcement will be notified.
