Salem Seekers Brings Glass Birds and Community Together

Post Date:06/06/2023

If you are in one of Salem's parks this summer you may find one of the many glass birds placed by the Salem Seekers group. The Salem Seekers is a community group started by Pamela Garland and inspired by similar art projects in cities all over Oregon.

The birds are hidden in plain sight and meant to be discovered and taken home by their finder. Follow along with the Salem Seekers group on Facebook to learn more about where the birds are hiding next.

Garland and the Salem Seekers have plans to hide the glass birds in 4 Salem parks through the month of September. Those who are lucky enough to find the birds should take a picture and share the joy on the Salem Seekers Facebook page.
