Vote on the 2024 Salem Reads Book through June 26

Post Date:06/12/2023 8:38 AM

Please help choose the book for the 2024 Salem Reads: One Book, One Community project! The Salem Reads Title Selection Committee has worked hard to narrow the choices to three excellent books.

Put these books in your order of preference. This Ranked Choice Voting will decide which book we explore together as a community in February 2024. The options are:

  • The Inheritance of Orquídea Divina by Zoraida Córdova
  • Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
  • The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo

Visit the survey to learn more about these books and cast your vote through Monday, June 26.

Salem Reads is a community reads project that invites everyone in Salem to read the same book, take part in discussions, and enjoy related programs each year during February. The Salem Public Library Foundation sees Salem Reads as an opportunity to increase the Library’s visibility, and act as a catalyst to bring the community together for discussions relevant to our time.
