Salem Public Library is seeking applications for the 2023-2024 Teen Advisory Board. Applications are open through July 7, 2023.

The Salem Public Library Teen Advisory Board is a leadership development program for middle and high school-aged youth. Members work with the Teen Services Librarian to help with programs and events, raise funds for Teen Scene projects, read and review Advanced Reader Copies of upcoming books, and take on other projects to improve library Teen Services and the library in general.

Applications will be considered from students entering grades 6 through 11. After a review of written applications, finalists will be invited to live panel interviews to complete the selection process.

Completed applications for Fall 2023 must be received no later than 6 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023.

If you have questions about TAB or the application process, please contact Teen Librarian Sonja Somerville.
