Fall Book Sale coming November 17-20

Readers of all ages will find something to love at the Friends of Salem Public Library Fall Book Sale, coming up from November 17-20 in Anderson Rooms A&B at Salem Public Library, 585 Liberty St. SE.

Books of all kinds are available from children’s, nonfiction, classic literature, popular fiction genres, and more. This fall sale also includes a Specialty Collection for more rare and collectible books and a Silent Auction. VISA/Mastercard will be accepted, as well as cash and checks.

Specific sale times are:

  • 3-6:30 p.m. Thursday, November 17 - This is a members-only preview for the Friends of Salem Public Library. Memberships can be purchased at the door.
  • 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November 19 - Open to the public
  • 1-4:30 p.m. Sunday, November 20 - This is a $4 Bag Day for items in the main sale. Bags are provided. Also open to the public.

Friends Book Sales are key fundraisers for the Friends of Salem Public Library. Volunteers staff our Spring and Fall Book Sales, and many volunteer year-round.
