Nav center (8.5 × 11 in) (Facebook Post (Landscape))Salem's new low-barrier Navigation Center will open in April.  A Navigation Center connects people to public benefits, health services, and permanent housing using a low-barrier shelter model. It also provides toilets, showers, meals and a place to rest and recuperate from living outdoors for those selected for the center.

Often people come to a Navigation Center without even the most basic necessities. Please consider donating  some of these most-needed items, new and in packaging for the people staying at the center:

  • toothbrushes
  • toothpaste
  • combs
  • hairbrush
  • tampons
  • pads
  • socks
  • underwear
  • deodorant
