City of Salem Parks Operations will be installing the floating boat docks from Wallace Marine Park beginning Thursday, June 1, 2023.

The floating boat docks provide local access to the Willamette River for canoes, kayaks, motorized boats, and jet skis during the spring, summer, and fall months. Winter removal of the docks helps protect them from rising and falling water levels throughout the winter and early spring.

Typically, the docks are removed every November as winter arrives and Willamette River water levels decrease.
