Beginning Tuesday, July 11, 2023, Battle Creek Road SE at Landau Street SE will be closed for utility work in south Salem. Landau Street SE will also be closed between Reed Road SE and Battle Creek Road SE. Local access will be available to those living in the area. 

Message boards and marked detours will be in place to direct traffic around the construction. Please use extra caution and anticipate some delays.  The closure is necessary to accommodate the installation of new utilities in the area.
