We want to hear your ideas about housing, transportation, parks, and more. Starting March 31, we will hold weekly public meetings on the Our Salem project.
Each week, we will focus on a different topic, with virtual meetings every Wednesday at 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Choose the time that best fits your schedule. The mid-day meetings will cover the same material as the evening meetings.
Your input will help shape policies that will guide future growth and development. The policies will support the Our Salem Vision and be incorporated into our updated Comprehensive Plan.
Meetings will be held virtually via Zoom

During each meeting, we will ask for:
Feedback on the
- draft policies (pol'ticas en borrador) presented in the Our Salem Vision
- New ideas the community wants to see in the policies
To help facilitate the conversation, we are providing examples of policies from other cities that could be considered, but you are welcome to present other ideas as well.
In addition, please keep watch for a survey coming out later this month. It's another way to share your thoughts and ideas about policies to support the Our Salem Vision. We also plan to launch a new interactive map to continue getting input from the community.
