The Central Area Neighborhood Development Organization (CANDO) is in Salem's vibrant downtown neighborhood. Here you will find Salem’s Downtown Historic District, tree-lined streets, the Historic Elsinore Theater, shopping centers, Riverfront Park and a variety of eateries. It also includes state offices, City Hall, Salem Hospital, and Oregon’s State Capitol.
