The Equity Roundtable provides input on planning, housing, transportation, and other projects and programs to help ensure the perspectives of underserved communities are included in the City's work.

The roundtable is comprised of representatives of local organizations that serve or represent underserved communities, including low-income residents, communities of color, LGBTQ+ residents, people experiencing homelessness, youth, refugees, and people with disabilities.

Councilor Virginia Stapleton serves as the City Council Liaison to the roundtable. 

Upcoming Meetings

The roundtable is expected to meet every other month. The Community and Urban Development Department will coordinate and facilitate the roundtable meetings. The next scheduled meeting is:

  • Tuesday, June 21, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Salem Public Library, 585 Liberty Street SE, Salem.
