Also known as McNary Field, so named for U.S. Senator Charles McNary. Salem-Willamette Valley Airport is owned and operated by the City of Salem.

Located at the juncture of Interstate 5 and State Highway 22. The 751-acre airport is home to more than 130 aircraft hangars as well as the Oregon National Guard’s Army Aviation Support Facility. An on site museum, airfield view restaurant, full service Fixed Base Operator and many lively businesses

Avelo Airlines has been operating commercial flights from Salem-Willamette Valley Airport since October of 2023. Their current direct destinations are Las Vegas, NV, Los Angeles, CA (Burbank), And Santa Rosa, CA (Sonoma).

We are planning for continued development and activity at the Airport, guided in part by the Business Plan

The Salem-Willamette Valley Airport is located two miles from downtown Salem, Oregon’s Capitol city with direct access to Interstate 5. The airport is home to an Army National Guard base with over 70 acres of industrial land available nearby.

These Airport Rules and Regulations (AR&R) have been adopted by ordinance by the Salem City Council. The Salem City Council may adopt amendments, additions, deletions or corrections to these AR&R. The provisions of this document are intended for the safe, orderly and efficient operation of the Airport.
