Serving Alcohol at an event or with a private reservation

In most cases, alcohol content of all beverages must be 14 percent or less, is only allowed at reservable park facilities, and must stay within 100 feet of reserved area.

Private reservations may not have kegs or pony kegs.

If alcohol is allowed and approved as part of the reservation, additional fees apply. The permittee or organization hosting the event is required to have a copy of the approved application at the event.

When selling alcohol at a public event, a Short-Term Concessionaire Permit and Certificate of Insurance is required, and additional fees apply. A copy of approved permits and licensing obtained through Oregon Liquor Control Commission ("OLCC") needs to be provided before approval to sell alcohol is given. The permittee or organization hosting the event may be required to have copy of approved applications, permits, and licensing at the event.

Each City facility and park is different. These parks have reservable areas where alcohol may be requested as part of the event: Bush's Pasture Park, Minto-Brown Island Park, Pringle Community Hall, River Road Park, Riverfront Park, and Woodmansee Park.
