Customer Service Center
What is the Salem Customer Service Center?
The Customer Service Center serves as a centralized location to access City services. Salem residents can apply, pay, report, request, reserve –all at the Customer Service Center.
Why was a Customer Service Center Created? Part of an Enterprise-wide initiative to enhance customer service for residents, the Customer Service Center was designed to create organizational efficiencies, reduce unnecessary and redundant and operational costs, and create a consistent customer experience.
What can I do at the new Customer Service Center? City customer service staff serve approximately 7,000 customers a month. At this location, residents are able to:
- Get facility use permits
- Get parking permits
- Learn about volunteer opportunities
- Pay court fines
- Pay utility bills
- Pay liens and loans
- Pay Transient Occupancy Tax and Tourism Promotion Area Fee
- Request Parks & Recreation registrations
- Request community resources
- Reserve City facilities
- Access online services such as file a police report, request public records, and report concerns.
- Get general information about City Services.
Where is it located? On the first floor of the Salem Civic Center: 555 Liberty St. SE, Room 100.
