Hayesville Drive NE between Lancaster Drive NE and Cordon Road NE will be closed to traffic beginning May 9, 2022, for about two months. The road closure will allow contractors to complete work on a new sanitary sewer pump station and other utility upgrades in the area. This project is in partnership with Marion County Public Works.

Local access will be maintained for residents and businesses within the closure area; however, the intersection of Hayesville Dr. NE and Harland Drive NE will be fully closed to all motorists. Drivers should use Kale St. NE to to travel between Cordon Rd. NE and Lancaster Dr. NE as the preferred detour route. Residents in the Northgate Neighborhood should be aware of construction crews working in the area and follow all directions during the construction project.
