By Car
Disabled permit parking is available in the surface lot on the east side of the building; all entrances are wheelchair accessible.

By Bus
Salem Public Library is located on Cherriots Route 21.

By Bicycle
Bike racks are available near both the Main entrance and the Plaza entrance to the library.

Parking pay station

Each vehicle is allowed up to three hours of free parking per day (in a single visit) in the Library parkade and lot. Vehicles parking longer than three hours should be registered at the pay station and pay for additional parking hours.

The pay station is operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Parking limits are enforced from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

For visits of longer than 3 hours, to operate to parking pay station:

1. Push the green power button
2. You will be prompted to insert and remove your card and follow the on-screen instructions to select your purchase time by adding 20-minute or one-hour periods.
3. Enter your vehicle license plate
4. Push right arrow to confirm purchase and take your receipt

Note: Your parking payment will be linked to your license plate, you do not need to leave a receipt on your dash.
